Bume – one of the newest drums from Ghanaian master drummers. This instrument is the result of combining the traditional kpanlogo drum with the sharper, more distinctive sound of the djembe. This creates a unique drum that resembles the Latin American congo in shape, but offers an incredibly lively expression, sharp slaps and a dense bass.

The drum is made by a master from the Ewe tribe – Christopher “Kalipo” Ametefe. This is not a tourist souvenir, but a fully professional, functional and traditional instrument used by top players in Ghana. Clean, uncompromising sound.
