African toms or mini dununs are custom-made by Mr. Kalipo, after several attempts we found the ideal sizes 8x10, 10x10, 12x12. However, it is possible to order a different size upon request.

These unusual little drums were inspired by the setups of Mark Guiliana, Joe Dyson, Jeff Ballard or Corey Fonville and Elé Howell. They can be beautifully incorporated into a kit. The calfskin is quite strong, if you are not a completely insensitive creature, you can play them without any problems with a drumstick, although they still sound best with an African “stick”. :))
